Gujarat Titans finished third in the table with nine wins in 14 matches. They suffered a defeat in the previous match against the Chennai Super Kings and will be without the services of Buttler for this game. Kusal Mendis will replace him in the team.

Conversely, the Mumbai Indians secured the fourth position in the standings. As five-time champions, they will be without some international players, yet their squad remains robust and they are eager to strive for victory. This match is set to be exhilarating.
