The Punjab Kings are eager to secure their first playoff spot since 2014. Led by Shreyas Iyer, they have proven to be a formidable team this season, boasting a powerful batting lineup and a solid bowling attack. 

Although they will be missing some Australian players, their squad remains strong, providing Iyer and the management with various strategic options. The Kings have impressive opening batsmen, and Iyer himself is in exceptional form. They will be up against the Rajasthan Royals, the inaugural champions, who have already been knocked out of the tournament and are looking to end this season on a high note. The Royals will also be without the injured Jofra Archer, putting their bowling strength to the test against the robust batting lineup of PBKS.

This match between RR and PBKS will be played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur.

    • Punjab Kings : The trio of Marcus Stoinis, Aaron Hardie and Josh Inglis haven't joined back. They will be unavailable for this fixture. Mitch Owen and Xavier Bartlett have joined the squad. Kyle Jamieson has been named as replacement for Lockie Ferguson.
