Royal Challengers Bengaluru is set to take on Punjab Kings in the IPL 2025 final on Tuesday, June 3, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This match will be a rematch of the first qualifier, where RCB triumphed by successfully chasing a modest target of 102 runs in only 10 overs.
In the eliminator match, PBKS took on the Mumbai Indians and chose to bowl first after winning the toss. MI managed to score 203 runs while losing six wickets, thanks to contributions of 44 runs each from Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav. The standout bowler was Azmatullah Omarzai, who claimed two wickets for 43 runs in his four overs. For PBKS, Shreyas Iyer was the star with the bat, finishing not out on 87 runs from 41 balls. Ultimately, PBKS secured victory by five wickets, achieving their target in just 19 overs.
RCB is making its fourth appearance in the finals, whereas PBKS is returning to the final for the first time since 2014.So far, RCB and PBKS have clashed 36 times in the IPL, with each team securing 18 victories.In their last five encounters, RCB has triumphed in four against PBKS.This will mark the second occasion that both teams compete at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

This match between RCB and PBKS will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
The central wicket of the massive Narendra Modi Stadium is set to host the final, guaranteeing uniform dimensions on either side of the pitch.
